As summer begins to fade and harvest season arrives, the winery comes alive with laughter, music, and one tradition guests look forward to year after year – our Annual Grape Stomp.
Join us on Friday, August 28 and Saturday, August 29 for two unforgettable days of award-winning wines, live music, delicious food, and family-friendly fun for our 26th year in a row. For nearly 30 years, Sumner Crest has welcomed guests from across Tennessee and neighboring states to experience the excitement of harvest season in a truly unforgettable way.
Throughout this two-day event, guests can relax with a glass or bottle of Sumner Crest’s award-winning wines while browsing our gift shop and later enjoy live outdoor concerts on our spacious lawn. Bring a lawn chair or blanket, settle in with friends and family, and enjoy an evening of great music under the Tennessee sky. And don’t forget to let loose and join in on the fun of stomping actual grapes! Inspired by the classic I Love Lucygrape-stomping scene, guests have the chance to kick off their shoes and step into vats filled with fresh grapes, laughing and making memories along the way.

Friday, Aug 28: Live Music on the Patio by Mark Gallant from 3pm-6pm, Grape Stomp beginning at 4pm, and “Kruise Kontrol” on the Lawn from 6pm-9pm
Saturday, Aug 29: Grape Stomp begins at 4pm with “The Remedies” on the Lawn from 6pm-9pm
