This year, as America celebrates 250 years, Dueling Grounds Distillery will raise a glass to a milestone of their own, as they celebrate their 10th anniversary.
The family-owned craft distillery in Franklin, Kentucky will host the 10th Anniversary Bourbon Harvest Picnic – 10 Years of Grain & Spirits on Sept. 19.
“This isn’t just a celebration of our distillery, it’s a celebration of the people, farms, and small businesses that have helped make Simpson County such a special place to call home,” said owner Marc Dottore. “We’re proud to shine a light on local agriculture and the independent, family-owned businesses that keep our community strong.”
Activities at the event include a whole pig roast picnic plus free tours and tastings of their Linkumpinch bourbon.
The Antique Tractor and Implement Club of Simpson County will host an antique tractor show on-site.
Local farm and community booths will include Ruby Branch Farms, Walnut Grove Farms, Chandler Beef Company, Heartland Chia, and the Franklin-Simpson Boys & Girls Club.
An online Linkumpinch Bourbon Bottle Auction to benefit the Franklin-Simpson Boys & Girls Club will take place.
Included in the activities will be a special release tasting, pours and bottles. The family-friendly event is free and will be held from 4pm until 7pm rain or shine. ID will be required to purchase or consume alcohol.

Dueling Grounds is a craft bourbon distillery and make Linkumpinch bourbon, American dry gin and other craft spirits. They are grain-to-glass with all Kentucky-made grain, handcrafted with local corn, wheat, barley and water.
