Enjoy Summer Nights Music Series at Dugas Park in Scottsville

As summer settles across Southern Kentucky, Dugas Park in Scottsville is giving the community a new reason to stay out a little later. The park’s brand new Summer Nights Music Series launches this May, bringing free live music, food trucks, and laid-back evenings to the park amphitheater through August.

Don't miss the Dugas Park Summer Nights Free Music Series,

Held once a month, the series invites guests to slow down and enjoy summer the way it ought to feel – lawn chairs spread across the grass, kids running nearby, coolers packed for the evening, and live music echoing through the trees as the sun begins to set. This is the perfect summer night activity for the whole family to enjoy!

The 2026 lineup includes Chandler Brown on May 14, Rick Faris on June 18, Flat Rock Ramblers on July 9, and a soon-to-be-announced artist on August 13. Music begins at 6pm, with food vendors and beautiful outdoor space that’s creating a community tradition that is more than just a concert series.

The new event reflects the park’s growing role as a gathering place for Allen County – a place where recreation, nature, and community intersect. Known for its spectacular trails, friendly playgrounds, beautiful amphitheater, and wide-open green spaces, Dugas Park continues to evolve into a destination designed for both everyday moments and memorable evenings.

Additionally this summer, the Park has launched a new series of mountain bike trails starting with the Dugas Dirt Trail – 1.5 miles of adventure – marking the beginning of Dugas Park being known as a mountain biking regional attraction.

“It’s summer. Grab a lawn chair. Bring a cooler. Let’s rock,” said Executive Director Shannon Weaver.

Admission is free and open to all ages. Learn more at Dugas Park.
