South Central Kentucky’s Got Talent!

Come see and hear for yourself as our Open Mic Nights return to the Butler County Arts Guild in uptown Morgantown on July 16! These popular events are free and occur every month on the third Friday night, starting at 7pm.

After a hiatus due to the pandemic, the stage is set for a fun, eclectic show of musicians, poets and more. Call or text 270-230-3189 for more information or to reserve your spot. No matter your talent, we have a place for you!

Our annual West Ohio Street Chalk Art Festival also returns this year! Festivities will take place on September 11, with more details to be announced soon.

Additionally, the Butler County Arts Guild offers free painting classes, fiddle lessons, guitar lessons and numerous other activities and events. As life returns to normal, we will start hosting monthly art exhibits as we did in the past. We also have a writers group that meets the first Monday of each month at 6pm. Call or text 270-993-8542 for more info about the writers group or any of these happenings.

Morgantown is only eighteen miles north of Bowling Green, right off I-165. Even though the Arts Guild is located in Butler County, we have participants from all over South Central Kentucky, and we are rapidly becoming a regional organization. Monthly meetings take place the last Tuesday of each month. We’d love to have you attend our meeting on July 27 at 6pm to see how you can be part of the fun. Our address is 115 W. Ohio Street, directly across from the Butler County Public Library. All are welcome!
