Butler County Arts Guild to present “Native Reflections”

The Butler County Arts Guild was formed in 2013, and our founder was Josh Hampton. Our current president is Roger Givens.

In 2018, we opened our brick and mortar location in Morgantown on West Ohio Street. Though the pandemic slowed us down the last year, we are slowly getting back up to speed. We offer free painting classes, free fiddle and guitar classes and more. We also have a monthly writers group and our monthly exhibits have started back up. We will start back up again this year with our open mic nights, songwriters group and free music concerts.

Morgantown is less than 20 miles north of BG on I-165, and even though we’re the “Butler County” Arts Guild, we have people from all over the South Central Kentucky area participate in our events. All are welcome!

April 2-29 we are excited to be partnering with the Kentucky Arts Council to present, “Native Reflections – Visual Art by American Indians of Kentucky,” open every Friday and Saturday from noon until 4pm. We are open weekdays for schools (public, private, home, etc.) and/or other group organizations to bring students and folks in to see the exhibit – please phone 270-780-6891 to schedule a date and time.
