River Festivus returns to Burkesville, Kentucky on August 14 & 15, 2026, promising a jam-packed weekend of music, adventure, and family fun on the banks of the mighty Cumberland River!
This year’s festival features a FREE concert by country music legends The Frontmen, a legendary country music super group with three dynamic voices from the iconic bands Lonestar, Restless Heart, and Little Texas!

Trout Fishing Tournament
Anglers, get ready to test your skills in the beautiful Cumberland River. The Trout Fishing Tourney will also happen the week before the main festival, letting fishing enthusiasts focus on landing the big one without missing a moment of Festivus fun.
Bring your best gear and your Golden Rule measuring board – prizes await the most impressive catches, including $1,000 to the top trout!
River Festivus Beauty Pageant
Calling all beauty queens! We are very excited to host the first ever River Festivus Beauty Pageant! With divisions for all ages and incredible prize packages, this is not one you’ll want to miss. Not to mention that the winners will advance to the Kentucky Festivals State Pageant in November!
