Furniture, décor and holiday cheer!

There’s something about the approaching holiday season that puts us in the mood to revamp, refresh and just plain redecorate! We like setting a pretty table for Thanksgiving and Christmas, and we love helping our customers and friends incorporate new and old things to get a comfortably curated holiday look. Whether you’re looking for small tabletop items to bring in the cheer, or are ready to take a bigger step toward changing the look of a piece of furniture, we can help!

The furniture inventory at The Village Keep is constantly evolving and we have pieces for every room in the house. We can customize any piece of furniture in-store to enhance your décor, or we can paint something you already own. Painting a piece of furniture produces a remarkable change at a much smaller investment than purchasing brand new. Sometimes the transition is quite dramatic! So bring us your tired and weary furniture and let us give it new life.

New to The Village Keep are fully customizable bars. These are built in-house, and can be painted or stained, distressed or not, depending on your personal style. These bars are also a great size for use as a front counter space for all you fellow entrepreneurs out there.

Plan to join us the first weekend in November as we kick-start our holiday celebrations. This year, not only will The Village Keep be decked out and lit for Christmas, we’ll also be opening The Red Barn for you to shop and browse. Warm refreshments will be served at both locations, and we’ll have the fire going and the lights glowing for you to enjoy at The Red Barn!

In addition to furniture, by popular demand, The Red Barn will be stocked with all kinds of primitives. So many of you have asked and Leeza has been happily hunting across several states to bring you lots of crocks, handmade quilts, primitive tools, hooked rugs and old toys.

So that you can fully enjoy the lights and atmosphere, we will be modifying our hours on Friday, November 4th, opening at 12 noon and staying open until 8pm. Saturday we’ll celebrate from 9am-5pm, and again on Sunday, November 6th from 1pm-5pm.

We hope you’ll plan to join us! And be sure to browse Leeza’s Stuff at Consignment World on Broadway Avenue in Bowling Green. We keep home décor and a wide variety of furniture, both painted and natural, at that location. You’ll probably find the perfect little table or chair to get your redecorating momentum started!
