The holiday season is fast approaching, and Riverview at Hobson Grove is ready to help start your celebration! Preparations are already underway, and our staff is committed to creating an authentic Victorian holiday atmosphere. There really is something special about this stately mansion, and we love showing it off at Christmas!
You can begin your Christmas shopping with us at our Open House on Wednesday, December 4. Browse a selection of jewelry, accessories, books, bath/body products, homemade goodies and more. When you are finished shopping, enjoy complimentary refreshments in our meeting room. There is no charge for this event.
Riverview will be offering Candlelight Tours on Saturday, December 14. Our costumed docents will take you back in time to learn about Victorian Christmas traditions as you move throughout the Hobson House, beautifully lit by candles and antique lamps. This tour is free to the public although donations are certainly appreciated! A souvenir photo of your group at the house will be available for purchase. Parking will be at the bottom of the hill at the ballpark and golf course with free shuttles provided to Riverview. Our gift shop will be open, and free refreshments will be provided to our guests.
