For 15 years, REALTORS®, local businesses, and community members have come together with one shared purpose: ensuring families in South Central Kentucky have access to the food they need.
Through the REALTORS® Hope for Hunger initiative, the REALTORS® Association of Southern Kentucky partners with local organizations, volunteers, and generous sponsors to raise funds and collect food for school resource centers, food banks, and families facing food insecurity. What began as a simple food drive has grown into one of our community’s largest collaborative efforts to fight hunger.
This year, Hope for Hunger has set an ambitious goal: providing 1 million servings of food to local families. Every sponsorship, donation, volunteer hour, and event participant helps move that goal one step closer to reality.
One of the most anticipated events of the campaign is the 3rd Annual REALTORS® Hope for Hunger Bubble Run, taking place on Saturday, September 12 at Kereiakes Park Greenways in Bowling Green.
Designed for all ages and fitness levels, the Bubble Run is less about competition and more about community. Participants will enjoy a colorful, bubble-filled morning while supporting a meaningful cause. Whether you’re an experienced runner, a casual walker, or simply looking for a fun family outing, everyone is welcome.
The event features both a 5K Run and a 2K Walk, with check-in beginning at 7:15am and the race starting at 8am. Children 12 and under participate free, and walkers age 60 and older are also free. Participants who register by August 14 receive the discounted $25 Early Bird registration, along with an official race shirt and goodie bag. Registration increases to $35 after August 14.
The REALTORS® Hope for Hunger Bubble Run is more than just a race. It’s an opportunity for neighbors, families, businesses, and community members to come together, enjoy a memorable morning, and make a lasting difference for those who need it most.
