The Bowling Green Trolley is the newest addition to Bowling Green, Kentucky. Our trolley can provide you with a unique experience from our rentals to our historic city tours. In addition to our Historic City Trolley Tour, the BG Trolley will also be hosting a number of yet-to-be-announced specialty tours designed to highlight our city’s rich history and vibrant culture.
Our mission with the BG Trolley is to provide a special, educational, fun and new experience to seeing Bowling Green. We want locals and tourists to fill up our trolley. Our historic city tours can provide locals with knowledge about their beautiful city and learn more about where they live. Learn how Bowling Green got its name, find out why the Union and Confederacy occupied the city during the Civil War, and discover how it emerged from the ashes of war to become a popular tourist destination and the home of one of America’s most iconic sports cars, the Corvette! Our historic city tours are approximately 90 minutes. They are fully-narrated historic city tours that start at the National Corvette Museum. You can see places like The National Corvette Museum, Fountain Square and the Capitol Theatre, Reservoir Hill and Fort CF Smith, The Historic RailPark & Train Museum and the L&N Depot, Western Kentucky University, the Kentucky Museum, The Modern Automotive District and the Dixie Highway, The Shake Rag Historic District and more.
Our trolley is not just for historic city tours, you can also rent it to make your own unique route. Let us chauffeur you around town. Our 34-passenger trolley is flexible for transporting guests for a variety of events.
Our trolley features a beautiful wood and brass interior with a mixture of center and forward-facing seating that easily accommodates all your needs. It is also fully accessible to guests with physical limitations and those who are wheelchair-bound, ensuring that everyone can join in on the adventure.
