Bowling Green Skate Center gets new name and massive renovation

The Bowling Green Skate Center has been a staple of this community for nearly 40 years. During its operation, it changed names multiple times but always remained a place for making memories and family fun. Once again the center has changed its name. Newly renamed BG Skate & Venue is undergoing a massive renovation. The facility is locally owned and operated and the new owners are excited about the future of this facility. Owners of 3-Springs, LLC are confident you will like what you see!

BG Skate & Venue is a 22,500 square foot facility that has been underutilized in the past. The new owners want to provide a safe and comfortable place for families to enjoy and pass down the love of skating to younger generations. When not in use for nostalgic skating sessions and infamous skating parties, this multipurpose facility with a capacity of 800 will be an excellent place for local school organizations, churches and larger family events. The owners are currently stewing on suggestions the community has provided as possibilities for this venue and have loved the generated input. The door is wide open with possibilities including but not limited to hosting of band events, comedy nights, adult skating and even exercise sessions. Renovations have been mindful of maintaining the skating atmosphere while providing a venue that will be easily camouflaged into a reception hall. Owners would love to continue hearing from the greater area community.

BG Skate & Venue will be the most modernized facility within our geographical region and the owners can’t wait for the community to experience it. You are guaranteed to be mind-blown! The facility boasts new everything. From state-of-the-art security and camera systems, a rocking audio/video system and magical lighting guaranteed to get the party started. BG love will be depicted in massive murals from local artist Braxton Price and they are sure to give customers all the feels. Additional upgrades include an overhaul to the concessions area, foyer and much-needed attention to the current restrooms. For those who have inquired… there will be no gum tree, “Sorry, not sorry,” owners reported. However, they have promised to maintain some of that Skate Center nostalgia that patrons have always loved. Renovations should be completed by the end of July 2021, just in time for a Back-To-School Bash. Please follow @BGSkate for upcoming event information. Dying to see the final outcome? You have to see it to believe it!
