Serving up local favorites for nine years!

Time flies when you’re having fun! It really doesn’t feel like it, but Lost River Pizza Co. has been serving up their local, award-winning pizza since September of 2011. Some things have remained constant on their menu since the beginning. Over the past nine years the Culinary team, led by Chef Jonathan Blevins and Jessica Vincent, has been diligent to their craft, adding several creative menu offerings that have quickly became favorites of their customers.

“When I started developing the concept for Lost River Pizza, I wanted to make sure that the restaurant had a really cool, local vibe with a huge selection of craft beer. I wanted to make sure that our pizzas were the best you would find anywhere.” That’s what owner Keith Coffman said he wanted to do when he started brainstorming ideas for his pizzeria. He and his staff have made it their mission to remain true to those concepts. LRP, as many locals call it, was the first restaurant in Bowling Green to embrace the craft beer movement when they opened with 30 beers on tap. “Before we opened, no one carried craft beer on tap and one local restauranteur told me that we wouldn’t make it selling craft beer. Now every restaurant in town has several craft beers on tap,” quoted Coffman.

In addition to their 30 taps, LRP has won numerous awards for their pizzas over the years and offers several tasty options. When you are ordering pizza, you can choose from Thin Crust, Pan Crust, Flatbread, Gluten Free Thin Crust, Chicago Style Deep Dish & Detroit Style Pan. Lost River Pizza makes their dough in house and prepares all of their vegetable and meat toppings daily. Prepping everything in-house and sourcing local ingredients are the key processes that makes their pizza unique and, in the eyes of their patrons, better.

If you are a wing connoisseur, you will love Lost River Pizza Co.’s wing selections. They offer breaded, non-breaded and smoked wings. The wing choices don’t stop there. You can choose to have them spun in one of their delicious sauces or dusted with a dry rub. Every Sunday you can enjoy all you can eat wings as well. On most Sundays during football season, Lost River Pizza will sell several thousand wings to their “Sunday Funday” customers who come in to cheer on their favorite teams.

If pizza and wings aren’t your thing, don’t worry. Lost River Pizza Co. also offers incredible salads, locally-sourced burgers, house-made lasagna, and, as of earlier this spring, bar-b-que. For their locally-sourced burgers, they use ground beef from two local farms, Blue Star Farms and Hardison Farms. They top their burgers with bacon from Kirby & Poe and cheese from Kenny’s Farmhouse Cheese. As for their new bar-b-que menu, they now serve pulled pork, smoked brisket, smoked wings, baby back ribs and more.

Over the past year, Keith and the LRP Team have expanded the restaurant, adding a pizza trailer, a private party/meeting room, a fenced-in patio dining area and a drive-thru window. You can now call the restaurant at 270-746-0255 to place your order and pick it up at the window.
