Vendors are invited to share products and services

Reservations are now being taken for vendors for the Kentucky Grand Hotel’s first annual Health & Fitness Expo, to be held next door at SKyPAC on Saturday, September 7, from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. The event is designed to showcase the many products and services available to the Bowling Green community, from sports and exercise equipment and gym, yoga and dance programs to health care products and medical services. The all-day event will be free to the general public.

“This will be a fun day for people of all ages to come out and hear some good music, get some good food, and learn more about what is offered in our region regarding all things health and fitness,” said event coordinator Jenna Townsend. “It will also be a great opportunity for local medical providers and health and fitness businesses to connect with new potential clients from all across the region.”

Vendors and sponsors wanting to participate in the Expo should email HealthAndFitnessExpoBG@gmail.com for more information and details about how to reserve space.

Residents are also urged to mark their calendar for the free event.

The Kentucky Grand is More Than Just a Hotel

Hotel Opens new Bluegrass Restaurant and Launches Fun Thursday Night Line-Up

Ready for expertly seasoned fried chicken or the sounds of a famous hit Nashville songwriter? The Kentucky Grand Hotel & Spa in downtown Bowling Green is abuzz with activity. Owners Dan and Jenna Murph sampled fried chicken across the south and came up with a mouthwatering version, matched with creamy mashed potatoes among choices of delicious southern sides.

The restaurant, inside the hotel at 635 College Street, directly next door to Sky PAC, features Kentucky art and memorabilia on the walls and family friendly furnishings, with chairs in every color and fabric. The restaurant is open Thursday, Friday and Saturday from 5 to 10 p.m. Reservations are accepted but not required. Families are welcome.

Across the hotel lobby from The Bluegrass Restaurant, The Derby Piano Bar is beginning its third season featuring a famous hit Nashville songwriter each month, along with other rotating fun nights on Thursdays including Trivia, Open Mic, and Theme Night. Check out kentuckygrand.com for more details about our exciting Thursday night line-up.

Residents and visitors are invited to tour a suite at the hotel and plan for get-away weekends or accommodations for special guests. Call 270-779-8988 for information and reservations.
