Yogi Bear’s Jellystone Park in Cave City has lots of new fun and adventure just waiting for families to enjoy.
Looking for a sandy beach in Kentucky? We’ve got one! Ever been on a WIBIT? It’s 1,300 square feet of bouncies on the water! Kids, dads, Uncle Jim and Mom – everyone in the family (age 6 and up over 43” tall) can play/climb/slide/bounce/jump/giggle and just plain have fun on the WIBIT. We provide the water, the life jackets, and the bouncies, you provide the energy. We also have more bouncies in the shallow end. Or you can race a Corcl – a small round boat that looks like a giant Frisbee upside down in the water. Some folks say it’s hard to stay balanced, but others laugh at them. Back on the beach, you can play sand volleyball or just relax.
Looking for the best hot dog around? Come try our new Nathan’s Famous Hot Dogs Restaurant – straight from the Boardwalk of New York City where you’ve seen the famous hot dog eating contests. Corn dog nuggets for the kids, slaw dogs for the connoisseur, chili, sauerkraut, relish or cheese – take your pick. For the adventuresome, we have the true quarter pound hot dog – a real meal in itself. Maybe you should add some bacon ranch fries to go with that. Yum!
Ice cream? We have soft serve with eight flavor bursts and almost unlimited combinations, as well as 16 toppings to choose from. Or choose milkshakes, razzles or sundaes.
The Jellystone Park gift shop is just amazing for all the wonderful and unique items inside. Bison filets or ground elk from the coolers, a 3-foot stuffed Yogi Bear, Karst Beach souvenir T-Shirts, unique jewelry, magnetic rocks, camping supplies, and everything Yogi Bear could find.
Jellystone Park is adding three new playgrounds which will include two jumping pillows, two spider webs, more swing sets, a gaga pit, pedal cart track, Foamball Friendly Fire, and a mining sluice. Day use pet kennels and two more fishing ponds will also be added.
The campground is adding 100 more campsites including 20 deluxe sites with paved pad and patio, special benches, lantern hooks, sliders, grill and more. Another 20 cabins will be coming by this fall as well.
