Have you ever gotten to tour an amazing 13,000 sq. ft. home, with a separate pool house? Well, this is your chance. These Homeowners have created an estate that redefines modern elegance and entertainment, seamlessly blending grand-scale living with intimate, resort-style amenities built by Kirby Builders! But it’s not the only home on the self-guided tour that will allow you to experience home and design trends that are great when you are considering new construction or remodeling. But you can also just pick up a few smaller design ideas or see a new product that would be perfect for your home.
The detail and design of these homes is phenomenal, whether it’s a custom home built for a specific family or whether it’s a spec home for sale. On the main floor of a custom home in Olde Stone you’ll find a dramatic great room with vaulted ceiling and clerestory light, a gourmet kitchen with scullery and breakfast area, the private primary suite and library, and ample yet thoughtful support space. There is something for everyone, no matter your budget.
This is a great chance to speak with Registered Builders or their representatives to see what they can offer. Homeowners and Registered Builders open their homes so you have the opportunity to experience outstanding craftsmanship, new trends and luxurious designs. We’ve been offering the Parade since 1976 and it is still a favorite event of the community.
All homes in the Parade are built by general contractors who are members of the Builders Association of South Central Kentucky and who have earned Registered Builder designation by meeting a stringent set of criteria including building, education, and experience, in partnership with many Associate members from carpenters, painters, designers, mortgage lenders and more.
Presented by the Builders Association of South Central Kentucky and co-sponsored by FirstBank, Ferguson Home, and WNKY News 40, this is an opportunity to see new colors, building products, home fashions, and much more.
Tickets are only $10 (children under twelve get in free). Tickets are good for all four days and entrance into all homes on the tour. You can visit all homes or visit just a few, if that’s all the time you have. Tickets are for sale online at www.bascky.com, at the Builders Association office at 859 Lovers Lane from 8am-4pm Monday through Friday. And they will also be available to purchase at each home during the tour.
The Parade of Homes Magazine will also be available at the Builders Association at any time prior to the Parade and during the Parade with a limited supply at the homes. The magazine is also published online at www.bascky.com. Parade hours for September 17-20 are 5pm-8pm Thursday; new extended hours on Friday of 10am-2pm and then 5pm-8pm; 10am-5pm Saturday, and 1pm-5pm Sunday.
Contact the Builders Association of South Central Kentucky at 270-781-3375 to find a Registered Builder with the experience, qualifications and knowledge to do the job right – the first time.
