A Tribute to Elvis at The Capitol & Memorable May Movies

Grab your tickets now for a celebration of the King of Rock and Roll at The Capitol Friday, May 22, at 7pm. During “Elvis: The Legend Lives On,” you’ll enjoy the vocal and performance talents of Tyler Christopher, who will be backed by the Roustabout Showband, along with special guest Brooke Wright, who is also an award-winning Elvis tribute artist!

This spell-binding production will recreate the indelible story and music of Elvis Presley, taking audience members on a high-energy tour through each decade of the iconic legend’s star-studded career. Starting in the 1950s when Elvis first hit the rock and roll scene, moving through his chart toppers of the 1960s, then concluding with his years as a 1970s Vegas super star, the show will provide performances guaranteed to knock your socks off and make you swoon! 

One of the top young Elvis performers in the country, Christopher is adept at evoking the sound and style of Elvis in his prime, complete with authentic replicas of original stage costumes! Christopher and his band have entertained audiences throughout the country with a high-energy, youthful, and authentic tribute show. Including guest star Brooke Wright, one of the most awarded Elvis artists in the nation, will be the perfect addition to a spectacular night!

Tiana and the Frog Prince: Tuesday, May 26, 12:30pm A prince is transformed into a frog and accidentally curses a beautiful princess with an amphibian form as well when he kisses her in an attempt to break the spell. A Stylistic, Dark Adventure Fantasy: Wednesday, May 20, 6:30pm This visually stunning drama combines the story of a child hospitalized with a broken collarbone and an epic fairy-tale (for adults) spun by a fellow patient. (2006, Rated R)

WKU Public Media presents: The Grocery List Show: Tuesday, May 26, 6pm This free screening is part of the 2026 Indie Lens Pop Up series. Hosted by Top Chef contender Chrissy Camba, the film is a trip to five bustling international grocery stores in America and the communities they serve. Special guests and food enthusiasts join her to shop for ingredients and cook a favorite family recipe, as they celebrate global food traditions over a shared meal.
