There’s a special kind of magic in Greenville, Kentucky during the holiday season. The downtown lights sparkle, music drifts through the streets, and the air is full of the excitement of the season. We warmly invite you to join us and experience the joy, the traditions, and the festive spirit that make our town shine.

2025 Greenville Festival of Lights,

Friday, December 5 | 6pm

Kick off the holidays at Greenville’s Festival of Lights. Stroll through twinkling downtown, enjoy the glow of Main Street, and soak in the small-town charm that makes Greenville so special.

Then, at 7pm, head over to the Muhlenberg Community Theatre for the world premiere of Bachelor Santaproduced by Goldenrod Film & Television, and filmed right here in Western Kentucky. “This movie is our love letter to Kentucky,” said Kristi Kilday, Producer and Co-Founder of Goldenrod Film & Television. “From the first day of filming to this world premiere, Kentucky has felt like the perfect backdrop for a holiday classic,” added Jeremy Winton, Producer and Co-Founder. Greenville is honored to be the home of MCTI, one of the few theatres in the region hosting this exciting premiere!

Saturday, December 6 | 6pm

The celebration continues the next evening with the Greenville Christmas Parade, filling Main Street with lights, music, and holiday cheer. This beloved annual tradition brings families and friends together to enjoy the floats, bands, and festive performances under the glow of downtown lights.

Saturday, December 13 | 10am

The following weekend, we invite you to pause and reflect during Wreaths Across America in Veterans Plaza. This moving ceremony honors our local heroes. The Muhlenberg County High School JROTC will place wreaths at each of the service branches memorials, reminding us that the heart of the holidays is gratitude and remembrance.

As the Executive Director of Greenville Tourism, I personally invite you to visit our town this holiday season. From the sparkling lights to the joy of the parade and the quiet reflection at Veterans Plaza, Greenville offers experiences that can be shared with family, friends, or even on your own as you soak in the beauty and warmth of the season.

We hope you’ll join us to create holiday memories, celebrate the spirit of the season, and experience all that makes Greenville shine this time of year.
