“Along with my team at Graves Gilbert Clinic, I provide a wide range of gynecologic care, from routine office visits to advanced procedures such as endometrial ablation, laparoscopy, hysteroscopy, hysterectomy, and pelvic floor repair,” Dr. Gass explains. “My goal is to give patients the best possible options to improve their health and quality of life.”
Specializing in Advanced Treatment Options
Dr. Gass is particularly experienced in the treatment of urinary and fecal incontinence through the use of the Axonics sacral nerve stimulator, a small device placed under the skin that helps re-establish bladder and bowel function. This technology also reduces urinary frequency, allowing patients to sleep better and return to the activities they enjoy.
“I’ve been placing sacral nerve stimulators for about 15 years,” he shares. “It’s a safe and very effective procedure, and I’ve seen firsthand how much it improves patients’ lives.”
Rooted in Service and Community
Dr. Gass’s journey in medicine is intertwined with his deep ties to the community. Born in Cookeville, Tennessee, and raised in Alaska, he returned to the South after serving in the Army. Since joining Graves Gilbert Clinic in 1997, he has built not only a career but also a life here, raising three children who graduated from Greenwood High School and attended WKU.
Outside of medicine, Dr. Gass enjoys driving his tractor and, above all, spending time with his family. He proudly brags about his nine brilliant and talented grandchildren, who are a constant source of joy and inspiration.
