Franklin-Simpson Renaissance presents 2025 Summer Nights Concert Series

It’s August and it’s hot but Summer Nights Concert Series in Franklin, Kentucky is still going strong. The Summer Nights Concert Series have been going on for over 25 years and have had some remarkable entertainers throughout the years on the bandstand, and August is no exception. Our concerts are free, family-friendly and are on the square in the Historic Downtown District of Franklin. On August 8th, the legendary Tyrone Dunn and Kinfoke band will hit the stage playing their traditional classic rock, R&B, and Motown favorites. The dance floor is always full when Tyrone is in town. August 15th will be a party with the Jimmy Church Band back in Franklin. Mr. Church has been doing Summer Nights Concerts in Franklin off and on for 20 years. He is still the same energetic entertainer he has always been and will put on a phenomenal show to wrap up our season.

Franklin-Simpson Renaissance presents Summer Nights Concert Series,

The 2025 Summer Nights Concerts are presented by Franklin-Simpson Renaissance and sponsored by Ohio Valley Insurance, Simpson County Tourism, Franklin Bank & Trust, Cole Lumber, and Hunt Ford. These local businesses are big supporters of our downtown area and sponsor multiple events each year. We are extremely lucky to have them.

There are plenty of food choices each concert night. Our food trucks are located on College Street and are open from 6pm to 9pm. Whether you get a bite from one of the food trucks or come early for dinner at one of our local downtown restaurants, you won’t leave Franklin hungry. Chair rentals are available for $2 and we have multiple options for restrooms.

“Franklin is a beautiful place to live, visit and host events. With our large shade trees and festival lighting, it is the perfect setting for our summer concerts. It is exciting each week to see all the familiar faces and to meet new ones,” said Kim Roberts, Executive Director of Franklin-Simpson Renaissance.
