Summer Nights Concert Series is a free family-friendly event that boasts live music, dancing, and food trucks. The concerts kicked off in June and will run select Friday nights through August. Summer Nights Concerts have been happening on the square in Franklin, Kentucky for over 25 years. We have had the opportunity to host some phenomenal artists, and this year is no different. The July schedule consists of Super T-Tyrone Smith on the 11th. This band came to Franklin last year for the first time and was a crowd favorite. You may see Super T in a tuxedo or maybe before the end of the night in his costume and light-up sneakers. The Remedies will be on stage on the 25th. They are new to Franklin this year and you can expect a high-energy mix of country, pop, and R&B.
The 2025 Summer Nights Concerts are presented by Franklin-Simpson Renaissance and sponsored by Ohio Valley Insurance, Simpson County Tourism, Franklin Bank & Trust, Cole Lumber, and Hunt Ford. We are very lucky to have these local businesses involved with our event each year.
As always, plenty of food choices will be on College Street from 6pm to 9pm, or you can come to town early and enjoy dinner at one of the downtown restaurants. Chair rentals are available for $2, so if you forget yours, no worries, we have you covered. The Franklin First United Methodist Church opens up their restrooms just about every Friday night from 7pm to 9pm and there are also porta-potties available.
