Embrace the Winter Wonderland at SOKY Ice Rink, sponsored by Wiesemann Orthodontics! SOKY Ice Rink is open now at SOKY Center Pavilion for our ninth season of frozen fun in Downtown Bowling Green! The 6,000 square foot ice rink is a festive destination that is perfect for families, friends, and ice-skating fans of all ages. With twinkling lights, cheerful music, and a cozy atmosphere, it’s the ideal place to create lasting memories this holiday season.
January hours are 1/1 to 1/4 daily from 1pm-9pm (Sessions 1:30pm-3:30pm, 4:30pm-6:30pm and 7:30pm-9pm). January 8th we go back to our regular schedule which is Thursday and Friday: 4pm-9pm (Sessions 4pm-6pm and 7pm-9pm) and Saturday and Sunday: 1pm-9pm (Sessions 1:30p-3:30pm, 4:30pm-6:30pm and 7:30pm-9pm). We close for the season on January 25th!
Admission is $12 for adults, $10 for kids 12 and under, and kids four and under skate free. Skate rental is included in the admission fee, and each admission includes one skating session. Basic season passes are available for $125 – these include admission for skating anytime! This year, we also have a skate sharpener available if you have your own skates.
Concessions are provided this year by Totally Baked Pretzels. The food truck will include their regular menu items like pretzels and pretzel bites, along with holiday items such as hot chocolate, lattes, and festive treats.
Sunday Storytimes with the Warren County Public Library will be each Sunday afternoon at 3pm and 4pm. Each week a different character will be joining us to do a meet and greet along with a story. You may participate in story time without purchasing an ice-skating ticket.
Skating sessions are back this season at the ice rink. Skating sessions are from 1pm-3:30pm, 4:30pm-6:30pm, and 7:30pm-9pm. The rink will be resurfaced by our Stupp Fiber Zamboni at 3:30pm and 6:30pm each day so the skating experience is better and safer than ever! On days when we are only open from 4pm to 9pm, the resurfacing will take place at 6pm.
SOKY Ice Rink’s Cast Iron Curling League has been a blast. We have a Curling Tournament on February 1st! Registration closes January 21, 2026. This is a Double Elimination Tournament that starts at 1pm. The fee is $50 a team for 2-8 players. Registration can be found at this link: https://pci.jotform.com/252536339867066
Learn to Skate with our Wednesday sessions where you can try out your skills with talented skating instructors! Our first session is underway, and our second session is Jan. 7-Jan. 28, 5pm-6pm. Links to sign up are available at www.sokyice.com.
For our Hockey Fans, we have SOKY Hockey Camp where you can learn and build skills related to the sport of ice hockey! Registration for the second session is open now for January. You can get more info at sokyice.com.
