Christmas officially got started at SKYPAC at the end of November, when we decked our lobby with festive decorations, had our Community Christmas Tree delivered and placed outside our building, premiered our original Broadway musical The Best Gift: A Christmas Carol Musical, and brought a holiday classic to the stage – Charlie Brown Christmas Live On Stage. The end of November just set the tone for the many holiday events awaiting you this December.
At SKYPAC, we work to be your go-to place for great entertainment. Our calendar stays full year-round, but the holiday season is always something special. With a wide range of events, we hope you’ll make lasting memories with us.
The Heart of Winter Art Contest
This holiday season, SKYPAC invites the community to view the incredible entries we received in The Heart of Winter Art Contest, a community-wide celebration of creativity. This exhibition will run through December 15, 2025, in The Goodwin Gallery at SKYPAC.

This production is based on the true story of the eight-year-old Virginia O’Hanlon, who wrote a letter to the New York Sun newspaper in 1897, inquiring about the existence of Santa Claus. This is a classic story that BG OnStage is thrilled to present at SKYPAC. Tickets start at just $10. Friday, December 5: Light Up BGKY Involvement – Community Christmas Tree Lighting
Join us for our Community Christmas Tree Lighting at 6pm, in partnership with Light Up BGKY. Be part of what feels like a magical, Hallmark-movie moment as we light our beautiful tree alongside Circus Square Park! Enjoy a live Brass Band setting the festive tone, watch the lights come alive, and then bring the whole family to step inside our Winter Wonderland for photo opportunities and refreshments. We’ll also be giving away FREE Gingerbread Kits courtesy of BAIRD, FREE mini Coca-Cola Polar Bears courtesy of Clark Beverage Group, and FREE Frosty Coupons from Wendy’s, our Christmas at SKYPAC sponsors.
Saturday, December 6: The Gatlin Brothers: Country & Christmas – 70th Anniversary Tour
Come and celebrate 70 incredible years of Larry, Steve & Rudy Gatlin in their special Country & Christmas Tour. They are Grammy award winners who have had a storybook career including a Grammy for Best Country Song, three ACM Awards, and five CMA nominations. Monday, December 8: NUTCRACKER! Magical Christmas Ballet

Friday, December 12: Little River Band
This break in holiday programming brings the iconic Little River Band to the SKYPAC stage for a special night celebrating 50 years of their soft rock hits. Fans can look forward to an evening filled with timeless favorites, unforgettable melodies, and the classic harmonies that made them legendary.
Saturday, December 13: J.C. Kirby & Son Christmas Spectacular
Experience the magic at Orchestra Kentucky’s J.C. Kirby & Son Christmas Spectacular, a beloved South Central Kentucky holiday tradition. With enchanting music, festive cheer, and a special visit from Santa, this annual celebration is sure to fill your heart with the joy of the season.
