Do you want a peek inside some beautiful homes? Then you’ll want to experience the Parade of Homes scheduled September 18-21. This self-guided tour gives you a glimpse of home and design trends that are great when you are considering new construction or remodeling. But you can also just pick up a few smaller design ideas or see a new product that would be perfect for your home.
The detail and design of these homes is phenomenal, whether it’s a custom home built for a specific family or a spec home for sale. One home is described as a new standard of modern living, while another offers four spacious bedrooms and four full baths with soaring 10-foot ceilings and elegant crown molding, along with a chef’s kitchen. Plus, you can’t miss one of the custom homes that blends timeless elegance with modern luxury, featuring a primary suite that serves as a peaceful retreat, complete with a spa-like bathroom. You can step outside to enjoy the incredible outdoor living space that is perfect for relaxing or hosting guests.
This is a great chance to speak with Registered Builders to see what they can offer. Homeowners and Registered Builders open their homes so you have the opportunity to experience outstanding craftsmanship, new trends and luxurious designs. We’ve been offering the Parade since 1976 and it is still a favorite event of the community.
All homes in the Parade are built by general contractors who are members of the Builders Association of South Central Kentucky and who have earned Registered Builder designation by meeting a stringent set of criteria including building, education and experience, in partnership with many Associate members from carpenters, painters, designers, mortgage lenders and more.
Presented by the Builders Association of South Central Kentucky and co-sponsored by FirstBank, Ferguson Home, and WBKO Cares, this is an opportunity to see new colors, building products, home fashions, and much more.
Tickets are only $10 (children under twelve get in free). Tickets are good for all four days and entrance into all homes on the tour. You can visit all 16 homes on the tour or visit just a few if that’s all the time you have. Tickets are for sale online at www.bascky.com, at the Builders Association office at 859 Lovers Lane from 8am-4pm Monday through Friday. And they will also be available to purchase at each home during the tour.
The Parade of Homes Magazine will also be available at the Builders Association at any time prior to the Parade and during the Parade with a limited supply at the homes. The magazine will also be published online at www.bascky.com. Parade hours for September 18-21 are 5pm-8pm Thursday and Friday, 10am-5pm Saturday, and 1pm-5pm Sunday.
