We’re not just another boarding facility. We’re a team of dog lovers building something different – and it all began with Moose, our dog.
Meet Moose
Moose isn’t just a dog – he’s our family. Before a planned vacation, we asked ourselves: “What are we going to do with Moose?”
He’s a high-energy bull terrier, full of personality, crazy smart… we couldn’t pass this energy on to our other family members, not even a dog sitter. Certainly, we couldn’t imagine leaving him somewhere cold and impersonal. We gave it a try with the boarding option, but when we picked him up, he seemed off – distant, stressed, and just not himself. We were actually apologizing to him for days afterward from all the shade he was throwing at us. Moose has been to other veterinarian offices and facilities. “When he doesn’t want to come home but wants to come home at the same time – That’s the vibe we’re after. Those moments of catching the cold shoulder from our own stuck with us.
We couldn’t find a place that offered the care we expect for Moose – so we decided to build it. Moose Pods was born from that experience and shaped our belief: your dog deserves the same comfort, safety, and love as ours and we meet all the same conditions as our home.
What We Do
We will be launching right here in Bowling Green, Kentucky, with:
•Luxury indoor/outdoor suites and indoor-only pods
•Doggy AstroTurf indoor/outdoor – clean, mud-free, and soft on paws
•Live-feed cameras so you can check in anytime
•32” TVs in every pod (Moose watches TV, and we bet your dog does, too!)
•White noise systems for a calming overnight stay
•(½ day – full day) Daycare, grooming, and spa services all under one roof
•24-hour pickup “after hours service”
•No hidden fees – ever.
Every decision we make is based on a simple standard: “Would we want this and does our community benefit?” If not – we don’t do it. And if it doesn’t make sense – we don’t do it.
Our Mission
Moose Pods is more than a business. It’s a commitment to comfort, care, and our local community. We believe all dogs – not just the pampered few – deserve a better standard of boarding. And we believe owners deserve peace of mind, whether you’re down the road or halfway across the country.
That’s why we’re also launching the “Moose Pods Emergency Relief Fund” – a nonprofit that will help local families cover urgent veterinary expenses when times are tough. Because no one should have to choose between their pet’s life and their budget.

•Taxi services – We’ll come pick up your furbaby for a meet and greet and bring them home

•Mobile Wellness – Can’t come to us? “The Moose is Loose” mobile exercise
•On-site 24/7 emergency veterinary care
•A community membership dog park & bar – where your dog plays while you relax with a drink
•Maybe even incorporating a restaurant, “I dunno… Just don’t complain if a hair gets on your burger or hot dog, you might be in the wrong place – Just kidding.”
