If you’re looking for a summer packed with live music, high-energy events, and family-friendly fun, Greenville is the place to be! This year, the city is delivering one exciting event after another, proving that small towns can throw big parties—all while keeping it worry free and low cost to the public.
On Saturday, July 12, American Idol alum Alex Miller will take the stage in downtown Greenville for a night of unforgettable country music. Known for his smooth vocals and down-home charm, Alex draws crowds wherever he goes. Local favorite CJ Sparks will open the evening, warming up the stage with his soulful sound and hometown energy.
But the entertainment doesn’t stop at the music—there will also be a mullet contest for all ages, so bring your best “business in the front, party in the back” look!
Make a night of it! Come early and explore our unique downtown shops, enjoy tasty bites from food trucks and local restaurants, and snag the perfect spot on Main Street. We close down the street so you can bring your own chairs, kick back, and enjoy live music under the stars in the heart of town. It’s the perfect way to spend a summer Saturday with family and friends.
The fun doesn’t stop there. On Saturday, July 26, head to the Greenville City Pool from noon to 3pm for a splash-tastic Foam Party, complete with tunes from DJ Michael of Star 107.3. With half-price admission, free treats, cannonball contests, and foam flying everywhere, it’s a can’t-miss event for kids and parents alike.
Then on Saturday, August 2, we’re back downtown for a free concert by The Crashers, one of the top party bands in the region. Expect an electric atmosphere with a beer garden, a lively dance floor, and a Best Dressed ’80s Look contest—so tease that hair, grab your neon, and get ready to dance the night away!
