Barren River Lake State Resort Park Lodge

Surrounded by rolling, tree-covered hills, the lodge overlooks the beautiful 10,000-acre lake. The lodge has 51 rooms and offers full amenities.  Open year-round.  Rooms are available by late afternoon.  Check-out by noon, Central Time. Enjoy the contemporary styling of the park's 22 cottages. Each cottage has two bedrooms and two baths. Several of our cottages provide charming lake views while other cottages are nestled in the woods providing a cozy getaway. Tableware, cooking utensils, and linens are provided, with fresh linen available daily. Open year-round. Cottages are available by late afternoon. Enjoy the relaxing atmosphere of an upscale fish camp while partaking of our new entrees like salmon, striped bass, trout and crab clusters. Our famous hot brown and juicy burgers are on the menu as well. As a strong supporter of KY Proud products, we buy locally grown products when possible. The restaurant has seating for 146 and has 2 separate, private dining areas that may be used for banquets and special celebrations.

Hours of Operation- Breakfast: 7 a.m. – 10 a.m. (M-F) and 7 a.m. -10:30 a.m. (Sat/Sun).  Lunch: 11:30 a.m. – 2:00 p.m. (M-Sat) and 11:30 a.m. – 3:00 p.m. (Sun).  Dinner: 5:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. (open until 9:00 p.m. seasonally). Ext. 2401. 

Looking to sleep closer to nature? Let the sounds of the outdoors lull you to sleep in the 99-site campground. Utility hookups are available. For your convenience, a dump station and two central service buildings with showers and rest rooms are offered. Open mid-March to mid-November. Pets are allowed if restrained.  Electric service at all sites 100V/30A.
